Roger (surname not known) is a character from
Resident Evil Outbreak.
He was a resident of Raccoon City around the time of the
t-Virus outbreak during late 1998. He remained in the city despite all previous warnings to evacuate and when things went critical, he was one of the few survivors left who were ushered to safety by
Dorian, a Raccoon Police Department (RPD) officer who had sequestered a tactical van and used it as a taxi to ferry survivors to and from the (relative) safety of the police station building.
Unfortunately Roger appeared to be of a weak disposition and found it extremely difficult to handle all that was being thrown at him. With what little dialogue he speaks, he thinks that the whole thing is ridiculous but in the same breath, he is coming to terms with the fact that he might not make it back alive.
His rescuer
Dorian had to halt the van due to a roadblock and instructed Roger and all other survivors to exit and make the trip to the station on foot. While many survived, others did not.
It is thought that he was not one of the survivors and eventually succumbed to the effects of the
t-Virus and died in Raccoon City.
He can't be unlocked in the game without the use of a cheating device. If placed into the game as a playable character, he shares characteristics with
David King and has some relatively good stats and starts with quite a few Green Herbs.
