Dr. Howard

Dr. Howard (first name not known) is a character from Resident Evil Outbreak.

He worked at Raccoon General Hospital (RGH) in Raccoon City as a general practitioner. He was working in the hospital around the time of the t-Virus outbreak in September of 1998. His first experience with the virus was when an influx of patients suddenly appeared with the same infection.

Nobody at the time knew that the city's water supply had been contaminated with the virus which meant that virtually anyone that had contact with the water carried it. With that, more and more patients started rolling in which overwhelmed the hospital. As time progressed, attempts to create a cure were attempted but unable to be completed when the numbers of doctors still alive were reduced to single digits, and eventually one or two.

Unfortunately, Dr. Howard was an earlier casualty of the outbreak and was attacked by a Zombie at some stage and became infected himself; eventually walking its halls as another part of the horde. He is then later killed by an encounter with survivors as they had entered the hospital looking for supplies.

He can be unlocked as a playable character and he shares mannerisms with George Hamilton.
