Yoko Suzuki is a character from Resident Evil Outbreak. Before the Raccoon City t-Virus outbreak she was an Umbrella Corporation employee, working at the super-secret underground NEST facility. She worked under Dr. William Birkin and she had knowledge of the t-Virus, the Tyrant Project and the Hunter Project. Unfortunately, working at NEST was quite an ordeal and took its toll on her emotionally. After a while, other staff started to take notice and saw her behaviour as irritating and demotivational - this prompted the attention of Dr. Greg Mueller who did something to her to help her forget.

She was then re-assigned within Umbrella and worked for them in another capacity.

During the night of the outbreak, she was at Jack's Bar in downtown Raccoon City. By the time Zombies started the rain down on the building, she was in the bathroom and narrowly missed being bitten. Her and the other surviving occupants of the bar decided to flee the city in separate ways; she decided to find her way back to NEST. She was confronted by another NEST worker who incorrectly thought she was looking for the G-Virus and attacked her. Managing to narrowly escape on a Galaxie 5000 train, she avoided the Zombies and even Dr. William Birkin who had since transformed into the monster, G.

Although she never made it out of the city, she somehow survived the nuclear decimation of the city. Over time, her memories returned to her and she used her newfound knowledge to testify against Umbrella about the outbreak and their research.

In terms of gameplay, she is a very slow character and has a low amount of health so playing as her is very risky. She is best used as a pack-horse type character as she holds the knapsack which allows her to carry up to 8 items in inventory slots. Her AI also instructs her to stay close to other characters and act defensively.
