Dr. Isaac is a character from
Resident Evil Outbreak.
He worked at Raccoon General Hospital (RGH) in Raccoon City as a general practitioner. He was working in the hospital around the time of the
t-Virus outbreak in September of 1998. His first experience with the virus was when an influx of patients suddenly appeared with the same infection.
Nobody at the time knew that the city's water supply had been contaminated with the virus which meant that virtually anyone that had contact with the water carried it. With that, more and more patients started rolling in which overwhelmed the hospital. As time progressed, attempts to create a cure were attempted but unable to be completed when the numbers of doctors still alive were reduced to single digits, and eventually one or two.
Dr. Isaac was one of the few medical doctors that left the hospital building and aided the Raccoon Police Department (RPD) and Raccoon Fire Department (RFD) in rescue attempts in downtown Raccoon City, specifically Main Street which had been bombed in a planned explosion in order to halt the progression of the zombies. His role was to try and rescue any lingering survivors and perform first aid.
After the evacuation, he made his way back to the hospital and began feeling unwell himself. After a short time, he realised that he had the infection himself and eventually became a
Zombie and roamed the halls of the hospital. He was later killed when survivors visited the building in search of supplies.
He can be unlocked as a playable character as part of a package and he shares characteristics with
George Hamilton.
