Dr. Scott Jones

Dr. Scott Jones is a character from Resident Evil Outbreak.

Very little is known about Dr. Jones as when he is first encountered he is already dead and his body has been looted.

What we do know is that he held a more senior position in Raccoon General Hospital (RGH) and held a key holder position. Part of his role would have been to make sure each colleague held the correct Level key card for their position and that parts of the building remained appropriately secured.

Since the hospital building itself had various levels of staff ranging from administrative staff, maintenance all the way up to Umbrella scientists which occupied the lower basement level his job was very important. It's most likely that somebody else in the hospital knew this and searched his corpse for a more high Level key card.

While it can't be proven, it is thought that Dr. Hersh was the one that searched his body as he should have only had Level 1 access but had a Level 2 key card on him.

Dr. Scott Jones can't be played in the game, he is treated more as part of the background as an interactable than an actual NPC like most other characters.
