Dr. George Hamilton is a character from
Resident Evil Outbreak. He was a top surgeon based at Raccoon City General Hospital that specialised in virology. He was also a member of the Raccoon Volunteer Corps., a local charitable organisation.
He first witnessed the effects of the
t-Virus outbreak when all of a sudden, an influx of patients were admitted to the hospital with unusual symptoms. It was unlike something he had ever seen - and due to his expertise, he decided to go to the labs and study the infection. At this point, knowledge of the
t-Virus was from only within Umbrella itself.
Like most residents of Raccoon City, full effects of the
t-Virus took him by surprise - he was relaxing at Jack's Bar downtown when Zombies started to enter the building and attack its patrons. He, along with a handful of other hopeful survivors then attempted to flee the city. Unbeknownst to him and the others, virtually everybody who lived in the city had been infected due to the drinking water being contaminated.
While he and his new companions attempted to leave the city, he continued to observe the monsters that were now roaming free. After learning that he could help complete a antiretroviral cure for
t-Virus infections using materials found on infected creatures, he decided to remain within the city and test out the cure, later named Daylight. He would first test this out on himself and then work on rolling it out to everybody else en-masse. Unfortunately the expert doctors who initially developed the cure did not survive, but George arrived just in time to get it out to the public.
Daylight would see continued use for years after its creation.
After the Outbreak and Raccoon City was destroyed, George continued to work in his field of virology and presumably continued to research the
t-Virus and similar viruses. Interestingly he also seems to be fond of wristwatches, particularly novelty ones. Perhaps he likes to wear them on purpose, to show his individuality, as the rest of his attire is very formal and professional.
In terms of gameplay, George can mix herbs into healing items and also has a special dodge ability where, with correct timing, attacks can be avoided.
