Len

Len (presumably short for Leonard, surname not known) is a character from Resident Evil Outbreak.

Not much is known about his life apart from his final moments; he was a firefighter working for the Raccoon City Fire Department and during the city's t-Virus outbreak of 1998 he and the few remaining colleagues still in the city assisted the Raccoon City Police in evacuating as many people as possible.

As the fire crew had more training in dangerous situations within buildings, he and his colleagues volunteered to go into a burning hotel named the Apple Inn in order to search for survivors. As they cleared the building they ventured into the basement which contained a boiler and upon inspection was close to rupture. Apparently all fail-safes failed and the boiler soon exploded which killed Len and his colleagues.

Other firefighters outside heard the explosion and attempted to contact Len to figure out what was happening. His body was then found in the basement.

He can be unlocked as a playable character and shares characteristics with George Hamilton.
