Rasklapanje

The Rasklapanje (which means Dismantled in Serbian) is a heavily mutated human who has been exposed to the C-Virus. They were first discovered by Neo-Umbrella researchers who were testing the virus on subjects and found that with some the mutation took an extremely unusual turn. As their name suggests, they are able to detach parts of their body apart where they can act independently. They can also re-merge with the rest of the body and revert to a single being. The creature is very unusual and has a rather disturbing look, features which were later found to be fairly typical of extended C-Virus mutations.

The creature can be described as having two main parts. The first is a Leech-like invertebrate creature that acts as the core of the body and can be seen as a parasite. All internal organs, nerves and musculature appears to be part of this form. The second is an exterior shell which adds protection and structure to the form, giving it a humanoid shape. Since the Rasklapanje can detach parts of its body, it can also regenerate any destroyed parts into its main body (this is similar behaviour to the Regenerador Plaga-based mutant which also had parasites in its body, but many smaller ones instead of a single large one).

It's main goal appears to be to reproduce parasitically - it will attempt to subdue it's prey and then it's slug-like body will emerge from the mouth of the shell and then try to devour the subjects head. This then leads to death, and then rebirth shortly after as another Rasklapanje.

In terms of weaknesses, they have been shown to have an adversity to high temperatures and fire, as the slug-like core of the body will separate itself from the exterior part entirely to escape the hazard. However, it has many strengths - the exterior shell is so tough that it will resist most forms of ballistic weaponry. The most effective way to defeat one is to target the soft interior, or find some way of generating a lot of heat and fire into a concentrated area (grenades would work well) to coax out the core of the body.
