Noga-Oklop (which means Leg-Armour in Serbian) is a mutation of a creature called a J'avo (who are subjects who were willingly administered the C-Virus directly into their bloodstream). The mutation occurs when one or both of their legs have been critically damaged, and in this case the mutation is fairly mild; the existing bones and muscle tissues are split apart and extended outward and a new insect-like strong outer layer forms. As the mutation happens so quickly (usually within five and ten seconds), the leg bones can be seen on the exterior of the legs - the hip joint is now fully disconnected and is simply a structural point to the leg. The mutated legs appear to be attached to the body in a different way.

The feet are also replaced with something stronger and more agile which allows them to close in very quickly on their prey. As the body from the torso upwards is virtually unchanged, the J'avo can still use weapons as before.

Interestingly this mutation is usually a secondary one; most Noga-Oklop encountered also have mutations due to damage in other areas such as the head or the arms, although there have been some seen with just this one and no others. It's also possible for one to enter Chrysalis state if given the opportunity.
