Brzak

Brzak (a Serbian word which translated means "Rapids") is a C-Virus infected B.O.W. developed by Neo-Umbrella which unusually took the form of a shark. It is a unique creature and is apparently designed as a means to destroy specific objects, in particular computer equipment and also corpses intended for disposal that may have later incriminated the company if found.

However, it was soon determined that it wasn't just simply a machine that took orders. It mainly acted on its own and eventually settled in the Catacombs of Tall Oaks, USA. Like most C-Virus creatures, it has a penchant for consuming flesh but only living tissue; anything that is already deceased or decomposing in any way is seen as inferior food and it will avoid it. It doesn't appear to detect heat signatures or electrical impulses, it simply recognises that the prey is living due to it's movement.

While the Bzrak has fairly good vision, it mainly uses echolocation to navigate. This was proven when at one stage it was blinded but this did not change its ability to negotiate rooms and find other sources of interest.

In terms of its mutations, it is extremely large and ferocious. Being a shark-like creature it has a large mouth filled with sharp teeth that can clamp, shred and tear easily. It also has shorter limbs with clawed digits that extend from their side fins. These mutations allow it to move around on land more easily. Finally, it's tongue is the most heavily altered organ as it is extremely long with an extra skeletal structure for added strength and usability. The tongue basically looks like a smaller head, but it can manoeuvre it in a way where it can pick up and manipulate objects or prey.

Only one Brzak was produced, and it was destroyed in an explosion.
