Reid

His last mission was when he and his team were dispatched to Lanshiang, China responding to a bioterrorism attack by a group calling themselves Neo Umbrella. The bioterrorism group used unique C-Virus infected humans named J'avo; these were similar to Zombies but retained much more of their intelligence which meant they could use weaponry but they could also mutate into stronger beasts if they were damaged enough.

While Reid was airborne, his team encountered another helicopter which was piloted by some J'avo and were forced to engage; at the same time he was attempting to transmit data back to the BSAA regarding the J'avo mutations which weren't largely understood at the time.

Some time after the helicopter encounter, the team encountered an enormous Snake named Iluzija which was released by Neo Umbrella; unfortunately the Snake managed to ambush Reid when it appeared from above and tore his body to shreds, then it threw him against a wall which killed him instantly. He was later found lying in a pool of blood by Chris.
