Telo-Krljust (which means Body-Scale in Serbian) is a mutation of a creature called a J'avo (who are subjects who were willingly administered the C-Virus directly into their bloodstream). The mutation occurs when the torso area receives a critical amount of damage. This particular mutation is notable due to the fact that the end result appears fairly mild in comparison with all of the others and it also occurs less frequently than any of the other mutations also.

The transformation is fairly simple - the chest and torso area becomes covered in chitinous growths which are virtually bullet-proof, even with high calibre ammunition. This armour wraps around the back and up to the back of the neck and appears to be made up of several layers of material.

Otherwise, the J'avo is unchanged from their previous form - they retain all of their faculties and their heads, arms and legs are not mutated. As such, they are able to use weapons as before. Their mean advantage is that they are harder to kill with standard firearms. However, any un-armoured areas can still be targeted (such as the head or the legs) and they are still susceptible to melee damage and explosives.

These J'avo are arguably the weakest in terms of combat capability, but a more considered and tactical approach is needed to dispatch one.
