Strelac

Strelac (which means "Archer" or "Shooter" and commonly associated with the Zodiac Sagittarius) is one of the more unique evolutions (sometimes referred to as Complete Mutations) that can occur from a C-Virus infected person emerges from their Chrysalis. A typical infected such as a J'avo will usually enter a Chrysalid state once they have sustained a lot of damage, but sometimes an infected person can enter a Chrysalis almost instantly, possibly depending on will or emotional state. In this particular mutation the host completely transforms from a human form to more of a lizard form, and actually bears some similarity to the Hunter series of B.O.W.s (Bio-Organic Weapons) but with a frilled neck.

It still retains some aspects of it's previous incarnation of a J'avo such as the extra eyes which are off-set in the skull but in all other ways it is a new beast entirely. Horns grow around its head and its body is now covered in scales for extra protection and ease of movement. The Strelac is extremely agile and powerful making it one of the more formidable Chrysalid mutations out there.

In terms of offensive capability, aside from it's sharp teeth and claws it can also fire sharp barbs from its horns like a gun. These barbs seem to be in limitless supply and they are very dangerous. It also has a few defensive moves such as the ability to emit a poison gas cloud. It can also manipulate the gland this gas is produced and expel vast concentrates of the poison in liquid form. This chemical is so powerful it can seriously harm and even kill on contact, if medical assistance is not sought right away.

As with many mutated creatures, it's silhouette is asymmetrical. It appears to have only one fully-formed arm, it's possible that the other arm was absorbed by the mutation so that the material can be used for the other parts of the new body.
