Carl Alfonso

Carl Alfonso was a BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) operative who was made part of Alpha Team under the leadership of legendary expert Chris Redfield.

He was unfortunately killed at a fairly young age when things went wrong during a mission to liberate Edonia; he and the rest of his squad were attacked in the Edonian city hall. His death, along with a handful of others forced Chris to temporarily leave his role in the BSAA as he could not copy with the guilt. For a while the Alpha team leadership was assumed by acting captain Piers Nivans.

Piers led the charge until he managed to finally convince Chris that their deaths were not in vain; Carl and the others fought until the very end and now he had to do the same. Chris managed to turn his guilt into a motivational force and he re-assumed his role as BSAA Captain. From there he led his team into Lanshiang, China where a bioterrorism attack was occurring.​
