Uriaș Străjer (two words combined which essentially mean Giants Sentinel in Romanian) was a human which had been infected with a
Cadou parasite by
Mother Miranda. As many had done before, she had expected him to turn into Lycans but instead the mutation continued to develop to an extreme point where the result was much larger, more powerful and more resilient.
It appeared that the creature was held within a thick layer of Mold underneath the village, lying in wait until required for use.
When he was human, Uriaș Străjer had a smaller, younger brother who was also infected with a
Cadou. He became the comparatively weaker (but still extremely strong) Uriaș and while the mutation was still extreme, the Uriaș Străjer mutation progressed much further, particularly with the
Cadou which had a more pronounced appearance in the creature. For example, the body was more disfigured and tentacles writhed around out of its face and its back. It's body also had several metallic-looking pieces over its face and shoulders which were used as armour.
Its weapon was an enormous mace - the spiked ball being over half the size of the creatures entire body. It had the strength to swing the weapon with a lot of force.
Unfortunately, it was encountered solely by
Chris Redfield who was fully kitted out with automatic weaponry and also the aid of mortar shells which Chris could utilise the deal a lot of damage.
The creature was eventually defeated by Chris with the help of some of his team and dropped its weapon which had somehow bonded to its calcified remains. Chris held onto this until he reunited with
Ethan Winters, where he passed it on either for safekeeping or to sell on to
The Duke.
