This is the incredibly massive, aquatic form which
Salvatore Moreau takes when battling
Ethan Winters. His original form is reduced to becoming the 'tongue' of the creature and will occasionally emerge from the mouth to speak. In this form, his upper body appears to be fairly unchanged from his regular form, albeit naked and chalky white.
The monster is very large compared to his original form and has the ability to spit poison much further and to a much more devastating degree. It resembles a huge
Fish with eyes covering its upper back - the eyes all seem to move slightly and all have tentacles flailing around around them (a characteristic of the
Cadou parasite). While the creature is most agile when swimming, it does have arms and feet so can also move on land, albeit more slowly. It's mouth opens up like into four sections like a flower and is adorned with large teeth designed for crunching.
After Ethan manipulates the flow of water in the area, Moreau is forced to leave the shallow waters and a battle takes place in an abandoned shanty town near the reservoir. For some reason there are several explosive barrels placed nearby (perhaps the area was due for demolition) which Ethan can use to harm Moreau if he happens to pass by one.
The creature attacks mainly by spitting a corrosive acid at Ethan, and at points will point its head up into the sky and build up a massive quantity of the substance in its belly. Then, it will shoot it all into the air causing what can be described as a prolonged acidic rainfall. Fortunately for Ethan, the remaining structures can be used as shelter while the bombardment happens.
Eventually Moreau is worn down enough by Ethan's gunfire and his mutated form starts to fail. The acid seems to over-produce and causes the belly of the beast to expand in an out of control manner. While this is happening, Moreau holds his head in agony and eventually the entire body explodes with pieces flying in all directions.
After the explosion, Moreau's crystallised body can be found. This can then be taken by Ethan and sold to
The Duke, or kept as a souvenir.
