Vasile was the husband of
Luiza, resident of the Village which is situated somewhere in Eastern Europe. Due to a
Lycan attack of their village, he left the relative safety of his and
Luiza's home in search of outside help. She on the other hand, turned their home into a safehouse for other local residents.
On his travels, he only got as far as the Reservoir which was relatively close the the village. While he had a capable weapon which was good enough to take on the average
Lycan, he was ambushed by a mutant
Vârcolac, which was far more powerful than anything else. The creature made quick work of him, and he just about managed to crawl into an abandoned shack to hide from the beast.
During his final moments, he wrote a letter describing the beast and also wrote that he hoped
Luiza would forgive him for leaving and not succeeding. He had intended to reach the windmill which was close by in order to get help.
The monster was still active and prowling the area when Ethan passed through some time later. Unfortunately, by this point all of the village's citizens had all but perished in an attack on the safehouse, including
Luiza.
