Rosemary Winters

Rosemary (Rose) Winters was the daughter of Ethan Winters and Mia Winters who was born whilst under protection by the B.S.A.A. some time after the Baker incident in Louisiana. The family were brought to an Eastern European location (possibly Romania) as part of that protection. The pair tried to raise Rose as a normal child but unfortunately due to Ethan and Mia's previous exposure to the Mold from Eveline. Due to Rose being essentially a Mold creature, she had superhuman abilities and could even survive her body being crystallised and dismembered.

At some point Mother Miranda kidnapped Mia and brought her to a frightening place where she was experimented on as she needed to find a way to bring her deceased daughter Eva back from the dead and the Mold contained within Mia's body could hold the key to her rebirth. Failing to find an answer in Mia, Mother Miranda decided to return to the Winters' home and masquerade as Mia using her abilities to take on her form. Nor Ethan or Rose could tell the difference. Mother Mirandas next move was to observe both Ethan and Rose and figure out which one of them would prove the most useful in her quest.

She decided that Rose was the key but the B.S.A.A. had already realised what had occurred with Mia and were dispatched to the Winters' home to take her down. Bursting into the property, the team which was headed by Chris Redfield gunned her down, much to the shock of Ethan who still at this point was none the wiser. To him, Chris had just shot his wife down in cold blood thus beginning another adventure shrouded in confusion and mystery.

Mother Miranda managed to recover from the onslaught and whilst being transported by the B.S.A.A., caused an accident which caused the vehicle to crash, killing all other occupants apart from Rose. Soon after this her body parts were separated and crystallised much like the D-Series body parts Ethan discovered during his time in the Baker residence.

Her ultimate plan was to use the constituent parts of Rose's being along with Mold to recreate Eva but this was quashed by Ethan who eventually managed to save his daughter, but had to sacrifice himself in the process. Ethan had managed to find her crystallised body parts and fused them back together with Mold which brought her back to her earlier human Baby form. He also helped rescue Mia at an earlier point. Using his last breath, Ethan told Chris to look after Rose which led to her later being enrolled to the B.S.A.A. As she grew up her Mold abilities became even stronger thus giving her a certain reputation around the B.S.A.A., for better or worse. She had the nickname 'Eveline' which she despised, and at times she had a security detail assigned to her which were told to shoot if she ever got out of control.

Rose would periodically visit the grave site of Ethan, delivering mementos and talking to him under the supervision of the B.S.A.A. However upon leaving the cemetery one day she was stopped by a mysterious figure.

Rosemary returns in DLC for Resident Evil Village where she is playable in a third-person, over-the-shoulder perspective.
