The Adjule is the name given to feral dogs which have been introduced to the Plaga parasite Type 2. Their mutation seems unassuming at first with only aggression increased with effects similar to the rabies virus. However when threatened or otherwise aggravated, it will strike ferociously and it's entire head and upper body splits open revealing that the creature has mutated with an enormous mouth filled with sharp teeth, along with a core at the base of the neck which ultimately devours anything that is captured by the beast. There are also tongue-like tentacles which writhe around, possibly used for detection purposes.

The Adjule is similar to the Colmillos which were wild wolves infected with a Type 1 Plaga parasite, but they are far more aggressive as the Colmillos was known to be passive and disinterested unless provoked whereas the Adjule will attack on sight. This is perhaps something to do with the fact that wolves are generally more adaptable than wild dogs and have learned to be more cautious rather than attack blindly.

When investigating, the Adjule can also extend it's parasitic tentacles to touch, feel and taste things just out of it's reach. Interestingly there is a rare mutation that can occur in some species of wild Dog (such as a Jackal or Hyena) which simply makes the dogs grow many times proportionally larger than usual, but they are also much stronger and dangerous.

If their Plaga is exposed, they are weak against blinding lights such as from Flashbang Grenades. This type of device delivers a devastating shock to the Plaga which kills it instantly and then takes the host along with it.
