The Gatling Gun
Majini is a larger
Majini who had a rather interesting appearance and personality; they are incredibly muscular and are almost always seen wearing sunglasses, a red beret, a gold chain and smoking a cigar; they also carry a large Gatling Gun with an incredible amount of ammunition. There is also an alternative version who wears an eye patch instead of the sunglasses.
Like all
Majini, they have been infected with a Type 2
Plaga parasite and as such have increased strength, resilience and aggression.
However, unlike most
Majini, the Gatling Gun
Majini appears far more jovial and social, preferring to taunt their victims while they try to flood them with bullets. They tend to get very excitable, shooting their guns into the air in celebration. Additionally, their
Plaga parasite also never makes an appearance regardless of whether it is severely weakened or not (with regular
Majini, their
Plaga will often sprout and 'take over', attempting to complete the kill).
Interestingly, the version of the Gatling Gun
Majini with sunglasses is not affected by the Flash Grenade, proving that what they wear is not just for cosmetic reasons. It's also worth pointing out that these enemies are designed to gate progress - each one encountered must be killed in order to proceed as they all carry different types of Keycard.
