The Giant
Majini were a handful of
Majini tribal leaders who had all been given a Type 3
Plaga (instead of the usual Type 2) by TRICELL who were still developing the Type 3 and needed human subjects to test on and retrieve data from.
While most subjects either died or mutated horribly from a Type 3 parasite, the Giant
Majini survived. When they mutated they grew to be extremely tall (almost 10 feet tall). They also wore a seemingly bulletproof headdress which obscured their presumably ravaged faces and gave them an even more menacing look. In combat they were surprisingly fast and agile, being able to jump great distances with ease. Interestingly they also stopped at nothing to kill their victims, even if it meant killing other
Majini in their tribe - they carried massive homemade battering weapons and would swing them recklessly, destroying both the environment and their kin if they were in its path.
It goes without saying that a head shot is impossible with a Giant
Majini; there appears to be no way to remove their headdress, so the only way to defeat one is either to shoot at its lower body until incapacitated, or use explosives.
Interestingly, they all carry expensive heart-shaped jewels, which they drop on death.
Ultimately, the Type 3
Plaga was not as successful as TRICELL had planned, but it was very effective on the few that it worked on.
