    Novels:
Colmillos, which are named after the Spanish word for canines (as in the sharp teeth) is the resulting creature where a Plaga has been implanted into the body of a Dog or a wolf. At first glance they appear to be a regular, but very ferocious wolf. On closer inspection, they are extremely mutated to the point where the parasite has completely altered their physiology and they have become an even more dangerous threat.

While they do have an enlarged jaw with much longer teeth and a chunkier gumline (in fact, their maw is so large that their teeth are permanently on display), they have a special ability to split the majority of their body into two, whilst remaining connected at their hind area - essentially, their entire body has become a mouth, and it has the power to tear up and devour almost anything. Usually while they do this, the tendrils of the Plaga inside their bodies will extend and whip around. These tendrils are strong enough to cause physical damage.

In terms of behaviour, despite their infection they still retain a lot of social behaviour. For instance, they will travel in groups and prefer to stay with others of their own kind. Also, they have been shown to be (in rare cases) friendly to humans who have also been infected with a Plaga, for instance they will not attack Ganado and the like - and finally, Ramon Salazar is known to have 'owned' a few for his own personal uses.

They also appear to retain all of their past intelligence whilst in their normal, 'all together' forms. It can be surmised that the Plaga and the mind of the Colmillos share a symbiotic relationship, and when the creature splits into two, the Plaga assumes the most control.
