The T-091 Tyrant (Also known as the Tyrant 091) was an experimental model of the mass-produced T-103 Tyrant - using a fully formed T-103 as a base, the creature was further experimented on and infected with the newly developed t+G virus which was a combination of the t-Virus Epsilon strain and the Golgotha virus.

Officially, the Tyrant is named 091 after the batch number of the t+G virus which was used on it (Version 0.9.1.) but for the purposes of consistency we have named it the T-091.

What emerged was a creature which carried many of the features of the T-103 such as it's grey skin wrapped around a tall and muscular body but it also displayed some regressive traits seen in previous Tyrant project prototypes such as a disfigured face, an enlarged and exposed heart and low intelligence. It's most striking feature is that in place of arms from the shoulder, it has several long tentacles, some of which have talons at the end - it can use these to attack from a distance and while they do give it somewhat improved dexterity, it cannot use small objects nor can it open and close doors.

All in all, the T-091 was considered an absolute failure and only one was produced. The chief issue was that it did not display any control over electricity which was one of the main features of the t+G virus. The T-091 was kept in a secure storage device aboard the Spencer Rain until he was released by US-STRATCOM agent Bruce McGivern and then it was quickly destroyed after a short battle aboard the main deck of the ship.
