Lily Klein was a young girl who with her brother
Lott Klein was born and raised on Sheena Island as part of a drive by Umbrella to create a sustainable community there alongside their secret research facilities.
As she was born and raised under Umbrella values she and her brother were led to believe that the company's research was for a good purpose and that their mission was to improve the world instead of the truth. When the
t-Virus outbreak occurred on the island her parents unfortunately died and she was left with her brother to hide in Umbrella facilities where they would be safe.
She and her brother were later found by
Ark Thompson, a private investigator who was sent to the island to investigate Umbrella. At first she and Lott thought that Ark was there to hurt them and they ran away - back to their old house where they knew there was a shortcut to reach a subway system.
While Lott travelled to search for the subway, Lily remained in hiding at her old home and later Ark found her once again and eventually managed to convince her that he was not an enemy and his real intentions were to save them. Later all three joined together and Ark led a courageous escape of the island from a helicopter.
After the island incident it has not been confirmed what happened to the two, it is assumed they re-entered education and learned of Umbrellas true nature.
