Roxana was a resident of a small, rural village in Eastern Europe that had recently been attacked by a horde of Lycans and other creatures. Although the majority of the villagers had died from the initial attacks (which happened very suddenly) she and a few survivors gathered at a house owned by another local named Luiza who had converted her large, fenced-off home into a safe space.

When Ethan Winters first meets Roxana, she is extremely anxious and mourning the very recent death of her husband, who was lost in the initial attack. Coldly, another resident Anton describes her as a 'stupid bitch' and flippantly refers to her husbands death. These remarks upset her deeply to the point where she breaks down into tears.

Clearly a religious individual, she resolves to heal in the form of a prayer. Unfortunately, she and the other villagers believed in the Cult of the Black God and prayed to Mother Miranda for guidance - little did they know, she was one of the main perpetrators of the entire incident and would even later kill one of their own with her bare hands.

As Leonardo Lupu starts to turn into a Lycan, she reacts quite quickly and attempts to escape. However, she happens to lose her footing and falls to the ground, allowing the aggressive old man to pounce on her and bites her neck with such force that she dies within moments. Shortly after, flames tear through Luiza's home where she and all the others lay dead, and the flames soon burned their bodies to ash.

Interestingly, she wears a charm around her neck which appears to be of the same design as Ingrid's necklace. Sebastian, a fellow survivor who was in the safehouse with her, also held the same design of charm (albeit only in concept art).
