The G-
Zombie is essentially the product of the Golgotha virus (G-Virus) attempting to infect a deceased human. While researching the virus, William and
Annette Birkin had discovered that it can even infect dead biological matter which set it apart from other viruses such as the
t-Virus which relied upon a living organism.
All known examples of a G-
Zombie have been extremely decrepit, do not have the ability to walk - their purpose seems to be as a temporary vessel to increase the spread of infection. It's not known exactly how the virus selects a dead host, or if it just depends on the condition of the body.
As the body is no longer alive, it doesn't mutate or evolve unlike living things infected with the G-Virus (such as
William Birkin). It is simply a re-animated corpse with the virus taking over all remaining functions. However, it does have a single, enlarged eye which is somewhat of a Golgotha trait.
Being a non-living thing which is constantly decomposing, they are very easy to eliminate or incapacitate.
They are notable for being the weakest form of infected to be given the '
Zombie' moniker.
