Allyson, also known as simply "Woman in Trouble" was the unfortunate victim of social and political unrest in the Kijuju region of West Africa. Initially, she had moved to the area from the United States looking for a better life for herself and the natives. She stood out as she was young, female and white in a predominantly black male society.
Unfortunately due to the
Majini, who were a terrorist group of super-powered Kijuju people fortified with Type 2
Plaga, she found herself caught in the middle of an insurgency - the
Majini were hell-bent on murdering or 'converting' all foreigners, branding it their own form of justice and as a path to salvation, as well as returning their country to a realm of paradise.
She tried to escape but was eventually snared by the
Majini who pushed a Type 2
Plaga into her mouth. The parasite worked quickly to infect her, grow exponentially and assume control over her entire body. After a few moments, Allyson was no longer there and only the parasite remained. Unfortunately for her she had to be eliminated by B.S.A.A. agent
Chris Redfield, who first commanded her to stay back; after repeated attempts to stop, he had no option but to first shoot her in the leg and then the head.
The shot to the head caused the
Plaga to erupt through her neck which resembled a centipede. This particular
Plaga is called a
Cephalo, and it swings around wildly in an attempt to prevent total destruction of its host body. Interestingly, the tendrils of the
Plaga can sometimes be seen coming through the mouth before eruption occurs, perhaps as a warning sign to not engage.
Eventually, the
Cephalo was shot dead and the host body collapsed along with it.
It's also worth pointing out that in certain situations Allyson's health can be brought to zero without the
Cephalo emerging. Either way, she always drops the unique Ivory Relief treasure item.
