V-Complex (Veronica Complex) was the resulting creature which mutated once the
Veronica Plant consumed it's 'keeper' Javier Hidalgo. He allowed the plant to devour him in a last-ditch effort to eliminate his foes and secondarily alter the landscape of the Amazon Rainforest entirely.
Before becoming V-Complex, the
Veronica Plant was an ordinary exotic plant from the Amazon which was placed in Javier's greenhouse at his expensive, cartel-funded mansion. The plant was infected with the t-Veronica virus as a curious experiment, as he had recently used the virus to supposedly heal his wife and daughter and wanted to know if he could create his own monster out of a harmless plant.
What became of the plant was a huge, aggressive infected plant which could spread the t-Veronica virus and also had the ability to consume organic material, even something as large as a human being.
When Javier allowed the plant to consume him, it instantly mutated and transformed into a mobile, weaponised half-plant, half-human monstrosity. It resembled a pink mass which looked like many tumours stitched together, with skeletal limbs - and one of the arms of the creature had a powerful claw appendage. The majority of the creature was plant-based, with Javier being positioned at its head - and in this spot he held a degree of control and also his humanity - he was able to speak and think for himself.
The V-Complex would have the ability to capture and absorb any living creature, by extending tentacles which would grapple its prey and then force it into its body for consumption.
As the creature began to take damage from combat, it began to consume Javier more and more, taking away his control and his humanity. For instance, he began to speak ill of his daughter who by this point he would have done anything to protect. Then, when the head portion took critical damage, Javier's head became exposed which caused the t-Veronica virus to run havoc throughout the organism and he began to lose control over the creature.
Finally, after all that remained was a chaotic beast and Javier's brain had been fully taken over by the virus, the V-Complex became a single entity.
It was soon defeated after its core became exposed due to damage, which was then swiftly destroyed.
