The Female
Zealot is a type of
Plaga infected human, very similar to the
Ganado, but instead of being simple folk who live off the land and attend church, they serve the
Los Illuminados cult directly and inhabit the more elite areas. More specifically, they tend to follow
Osmund Saddler in a congregation wherever he goes. These individuals may exist more for symbolic reasons, to demonstrate that the cult will be able to take whatever they want, as long as the members have been given the
Plaga 'gift'. As such, they are dressed in quite an unusual manner.
They have a long white robe which covers them from the neck down to their feet. On their heads is another white covering which comes down to the shoulder area, with a rope tightly tied around their neck (most likely as a symbol of submission and silence). It must be noted that their heads are completely covered, all that can be seen underneath is a vague shape of a human face.
All that can be seen are their hands, which appear to be discoloured like the
Ganado or Soldier.
Unfortunately, they are only encountered in cut scenes in the
Resident Evil 4 Remake. However, they appear to be extremely weak infected as when they are shot they simply die right away.
