Beard Cop is the tentative name for one of the local Spanish Police officers which were assigned to transport
Leon S. Kennedy to the area where
Ashley Graham was supposedly sighted, based on recent intelligence. His name is purely from the fact that he has a beard (of sorts). He is paired with a colleague, known as
Glasses Cop (as he wears glasses).
He is first seen travelling in the front passenger seat of an SUV with his partner
Glasses Cop and
Leon, who was sat in the rear. Beard Cop gets out of the SUV at some point in order to relieve himself and comments on his cold it is outside. He then is startled by something in the overgrowth but then surmises that he must have just imagined it. He returns to the vehicle and they all travel onward to a large house, just on the outskirts of a village; this is where they and
Leon part ways for now while
Leon investigated outside.
What they didn't bank on was for a group of
Ganado to arrive in their own vehicle and ram the SUV off the road and down a ravine. This destroyed the vehicle and killed both officers. Shortly after this, their bodies were recovered by the
Ganado and Beard Cop was brought quickly to a local village square, hauled onto a huge spike in the centre and then a bonfire was lit around him. His body had been interfered with after death - he was impaled through the torso and his eyes appeared to have been gouged out.
It was clear that his body was displayed as a warning for
Leon not to continue his mission, or face a similar fate.
