    Novels:
Armadura (Strong Threat) as a unique variant of the Armadura creature, which is a suit of armour that has been infested with a Plaga parasite. Over time, the Plaga has been allowed to mature in the cold, dark suit which eventually gave it the ability to control it.

The Merchant posts a bounty to have the creature destroyed - it has made its home in one of the lower levels of the castle.

Leon S. Kennedy encounters the creature alongside two normal Armadura. It is much taller than the standard creature and wears solid gold armour - however it seems to move around in exactly the same way. Interestingly, there is a small opening in the helmet in which two glowing orange eyes can be seen, looking out. One key advantage it has over its regular brethren is the location of the Plaga - it is located on the back of the neck which means Leon cannot critically harm it from the front without wasting lots of ammo.

The creature wields an enormous, heavy broadsword which it will use against Leon, holding it aloft for a few moments before sending it crashing down.

It's main disadvantage, much like the regular Armadura is its slow speed. For example, if Leon were to run around to face the back of the creature it will be forced to slowly turn around in a small circle - this gives Leon more than enough time to formulate another tactic or reload his weapon.

Once enough damage is caused, the Plaga will burst from the helmet which resembles the Plaga Guadaña form. In this form, it continues to use the broadsword as before.

After the Plaga is killed, the armour will crash to the ground and the biological material dissolves completely.

Leon can then return to The Merchant and gains some Spinels as a reward for eliminating the threat.
