Albinoid

The Albinoid was the resulting creature when Umbrella introduced the t-Virus into salamander eggs and unlike most B.O.W.s (Bio-Organic Weapons) these creatures were born in a larval state and underwent metamorphosis as they matured, essentially giving them their own unique life cycle which at the time of their creation was unheard of.

Maturity takes just half a day to complete when a new Albinoid is born.

Unusually, these creatures have electrical abilities which they can generate enough volts to deliver an electric shock similar to a TASER weapon, which is enough to stun a human being.

As far as being a profitable B.O.W. for Umbrella - that was never a consideration. They were far too early in their development and due to the t-Virus outbreak of Rockfort Island all experiments ended and all research materials were either destroyed or stolen by Albert Wesker.

Every single example of the Albinoid was eliminated by Claire Redfield and Chris Redfield during their escape of the island.
