Alan Droney (also referred to as Alan Douglas) was a special agent working for Bio-Weapon crime group The Connections. He worked closely with
Mia Winters on a task involving transporting an E-Type Bio-Weapon named
Eveline on the tanker Annabelle.
Due to a hurricane, the disturbance prompted
Eveline to activate and she released a form of fungus called Mold into the surrounding atmosphere. Mold causes mania, aggression, mutations and causes supernatural strength and recovery, to an extent. Also with most afflicted by Mold,
Eveline can take over them and control them. This affected all life forms on the tanker.
Upon learning he was infected, he instructed Mia to try and disable or destroy
Eveline - but
Eveline was fully aware of this and was prepared. In a rage, Alan called
Eveline a bitch which angered her and subsequently she caused the Mold himself him to multiply rapidly which took over his whole body instantly and this action killed him.
Alan's body could not be found after he died and its assumed that his body was absorbed into the Mold which later became part of
Eveline's final form at the end of the game.
