Brain Sucker

The Brain Sucker was the name given to a t-Virus infected arthropod which developed accidentally when a major viral outbreak occurred in Raccoon City which affected the water supply and the soil in the area.

Like the Drain Deimos, the source insect was a flea - only the resulting creature was many times larger and much more fierce than a flea. They could be considered an alternative form for the Drain Deimos as they both developed in a similar way but the end result was quite different; the main difference being that they had two heads, their blood was green instead of red and they had the ability to launch a corrosive substance at their prey to weaken them.

They hunted similarly to the Drain Deimos preferring dark subterranean locations and then ambushing their prey. They used their impressively strong mouths to clamp onto their targets head, crack open their skull and feed directly on the brain - hence their name.

They have not appeared in any other situation than the initial Raccoon City outbreak. They appeared in the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis but not in Resident Evil 3 (Remake) - the Drain Deimos appeared in both.
