I like a lot of different types and I try to push myself to listen to new things I think I'd have no interest in, but my top genres are:

I love a wide variety of music so it's always a bit hard to list the genre of music that I like but the main ones are Rap, Grime, Hip-Hop, and Pop. The other problem for me is figuring out what genre some of my favourite artists are

I'll never forego the opportunity to recommend RateYourMusic to people, especially if you want to brush up on the names of your genres. According to RYM, these are all the genres I've listened to. I knew the names of a lot of genres beforehand but I definitely didn't think this many even existed, but apparently so lol.

I would say that Rock / Nu Metal / Punk are my favourite genres.. My music taste is somewhat stuck in the 00's, and I still love listening to the likes of;
Halestorm, Linkin Park, Green Day, Papa Roach, Sum 41, and The Offspring

I would highly recommend TasteDive to be recommended new music based on your current tastes.. I've since discovered;
Amaranthe, Breaking Benjamin, Stone Broken, and Within Temptation to name a few off the top of my head.

I listen to just about everything, but as a guitar player I am naturally more drawn to anything guitar-heavy from classic rock to heavy metal.

My last commute home I was listening to In Flames, deadmau5, Metallica, The 1975, Jamiroquai, Soundgarden aaaand The Strokes

I love rock (classic rock, prog rock, hard rock), nu metal, metal and, shockingly, classical. I'll listen to just about anything except country or a lot of rap and hip-hop, just not my thing (not totally opposed to them, just can't really get into them, there are some songs I like, but for the most part...meh...).

I'm also very much stuck in the 90s and 00s with my music and listen to a lot of stuff from that era that I still adore. Bands like Insomnium, Kataklysm, In Flames, Chimera, Saliva, Seether, Korn, Mudvayne, Stone Sour, Pearl Jam, The Kovenant, Blind Guardian, HammerFall, Demons & Wizards, Cinder, Black Label Society, System of a Down, Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age, Linkin Park, Metallica, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Rage Against the Machine, Him, Breaking Benjamin, Static-X, Ra, TRUSTCompany, Incubus, Poets of the Fall, Soil, Godsmack...all good bands from the era. On the newer side I like bands like HELLYEAH, Falling in Reverse, Pop Evil, Highly Suspect, Shylmagoghnar, Omnium Gatherum, Be'Lakor, Battle Beast, Anathema and many more...

I don't have a "main" one. I like them all. I do listen to RnB, Hip-Hop, Indie, Rock and some chart stuff. I prefer listening to artists that are underground or not yet discovered, if you know what I mean. There's so many that are famous now that I used to listen to before even anyone have heard of them.

Well these days, I am into motivations songs. I do like patriotic songs, as well as devotional songs quite a bit.

As long as the lyrics are good and the music isn't half bad, I wouldn't mind adding that song to my playlist. I don't like romance songs and most of the time, that seems very odd to others. Still, that's just me being me.

I have been listening to Fight song, Kings and Queens, Burn(Ellie Goulding) a lot lately.

I personally prefer Soft Rock of the 1980's. Bands like Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard. The music in the 80's consisted of big hair bands as well as electronic dance music. I know many artists also utilized synthesizers. The songs I liked consisted of finding & having love, beating the odds in life. I'm not too keen on the newer music. Maybe I'm biased lol & because I grew up with a certain type so anything less is 'not good enough'.
