Yeah, it's a good remake. Rebirth is a "sequel" but part of a 3-part series.

Thank you for reminding me. I genuinely forgot that this game was coming out so soon. It always felt like one of those faraway releases.

Well, I've been playing it on and off since release... and.. it's like 10 times more complex than FF7 Remake (in a good way). It's like that first game was just a demo, and this is the real thing.

At first, I was a bit surprised that progress doesn't carry over, but the games are distinctly different enough for that not to matter. Besides, you pretty much get free reign with the most useful Materia very early on.

It looks really good. Many years have past since I played a FF game, perhaps I will give it a go again.

I've not touched this game for a few months. I need to get back to it before it just remains in limbo.

I burned out trying to do all the side content.. I've done everything up to Cosmo Canyon bar some really difficult Queens Blood opponents.

Agreed. Rebirth is an upgrade over Remake.

I hate the damn Queen's Blood battles, there are places where this will prevent you from progressing. I'm currently down at the bottom of the Flying Saucer, where the prison is. Your mission is to fight the 3 players in Queen's Blood. It's a storyline. After this, you need to tell the 3 troublemakers to scram.
