Back in 1995

[Oblivion Knight]

I've played through and finished this on my Vita over the last couple of days.. I'm torn.

I appreciate what it attempted to do as a modern-ish take on a retro classic, drawing heavy inspiration from the original Silent Hill game in particular.. but the execution felt somewhat lacking.

I was initially miffed at the lack of a 'run' feature despite it not being required tactically, though the reasoning for this is explained. The storyline felt muddled, though upon completion it does feel slightly clearer. Overall it just felt kinda "meh" which is probably illustrated by the current IGDB rating.

I can't really recommend it honestly. There's much better gaming experiences to be had..
