We've struggled to get people engaged with events on FF also, probably need bigger communities for it to work - I'll say it to Chaos and see if he wants to enter though
The aim was to get some new signups and people involved, which has failed. Difficult not to question further investment in Umbrella Online, and indeed any website.
It's disheartening, sure, but I wouldn't give up on UO. If you like having a site that's really all that matters, it doesn't need to be super active (FF would be pretty much dead were it not for exchanges). It's harder to get activity going on forums that focus on a niche, rather than generral discussion.
ive just shared on twitter also to try increase visibility, I have one or two RE-nuts following me on there so hopefully they'll see it and check out UO
