Having played a decent chunk of this game now... First impressions are great. The gameplay.. is not the best. Quite frankly. It doesn't quite feel right for what you'd expect from a Silent Hill. But it's still fun! Plus its not a full price game. It's definitely worth a shot.

Im actually really looking forward to this now. The demo was brilliant, they showed way more (in all aspects!) than I expected. Plus its got some pedigree as Clive Barker has actually had some input, its not just his name on there. And Doug Bradley (o.g. Pinhead) is doing the voice.

Ive been playing it more and its really good. I found out the developer is from Scotland, so they are designing what they know. The atmosphere, design, textures etc are all amazing. Some parts remind me of Silent Hill 2 despite the first person camera. Its a bit like Alien Isolation as well...

Im glad they took another bash at Code Veronica. Its a game that hasnt aged particularly well (some frustrating sections and cringey character moments).. so its definitely the right kinda game to get a remake.

I don't really see a problem with it. I get it, they're gonna play their older songs at gigs. It would be equally as weird if they didn't. They are a band that are past their prime (no offense to any fans of them!) I think some of their new tunes are pretty catchy.
