What is Sweet Home I hear you ask? We've mentioned it here before, but you'd be forgiven for not knowing..
Put quite simply, Resident Evil would not exist without Sweet Home. Period. It follows a film crew visiting an old, abandoned mansion once inhabited by a famous artist, now haunted by ghosts. Is it sounding vaguely familiar yet?
Sweet Home has been increasingly hard to source, with the overall quality pretty lacklustre. Not just because of the film's age which it can be forgiven for, but it's only been available on VHS.. until now! Better yet, it's completely free to watch.
Kineko Video, a film preservationist group have lovingly given it the 4K treatment along with English subtitles (because... it's a Japanese film).
