Looking at the trailers (I've added them to the Media), Chris Redfield certainly has a more sinister presence than previous installments..

Do you think he's truly turned bad, is there going to be a reason for his actions, or is it going to be one of those 'nightmare' scenarios that he wakes up from?

I think he is a double agent.

I really don't like how old he looks in RE8, LOL. The plot was arse grave anyway. I felt cheated they didn't continue the Connections storyline, opting to go with the tall vampire chick, and Tim Burton BS. Ha-ha.

The guy looked really peculiar in 7 as well. He kind of more so resembled the guy in the FMV scenes from the original game. But that just looked wrong, since Roger Craig Smith made him look like a beefcake on roids.

I thought it was a bit forced how they initially represented how bad Chris was in the intro for Village. He could have been a bit clearer about everything. The reveal was a bit pants.

Yeah. The whole series is confusing now. Often to me, it feels like Capcom is just as unsure of where it will be going next.
