I watched Silver Linings Playbook last night.. Well, most of it - I may have got distracted in the middle :rolling_eyes_with_halo:

It's fine though, I've already seen it a few times. Great film, thoroughly recommend it if you haven't seen it..

The last movie I watched was Midsommar a few weeks ago. I enjoyed it quite a bit, and recommend it. It's something I'd classify under horror, but it's more unsettling than scary.

That and Ari Aster's other film, Hereditary is also really good.

Pretty sure it was Adam & Paul, it's like a black comedy but pretty realistic film about a day in the life of 2 drug addicts in Dublin, and as someone who lives there theres definitely another layer of hilarity to the whole thing, it's spot on

Watched Home Alone 2 on TV last night. It's a shame that I'll now have to wait another year before I get to watch Home Alone again :(

The last film I watched was the Mummy. I really don't watch movies at all and should get in a routine of watching some every so often. It's one thing I should really do because of how many good ones are out there. I just haven't been able to get myself attended to one or watch netflix in a while. I'd rather watch shows which is something I do from time to time.

Watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes last night. I've watched it before when I was younger but I didn't pay much attention so last night was my first proper viewing of it. I loved it so can't wait to watch the sequels today and tomorrow.

In Time - Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfeld. Decent sc-fi thriller action etc. I'm not sure if the whole concept of it is clever or silly - that currency is based in time instead of money. It's not going to transform your life. But it entertained me for 2 hours.

Saw the second half of the Wild Bunch and then the first half of Aliens after
Never saw the Wild Bunch before but it was pretty good, and then Aliens is a classic, would have liked to catch the whole thing since its been years since I saw it fully

Cold Creek Manor on Disney+, it was in the horror section but it took a good hour to get anything remotely scary to be honest, but honestly a good film I enjoyed it.

Finished watching the last of the new Planet of the Apes movies. It was really good although the ending was a bit sad :(. Hopefully there will be a fourth film in the series.

I ended up watching Demolition Man last week, since my girlfriend had never seen it before - she needed educating! 🤣

Ahh, 90s nostalgia.. They just don't make films like that anymore!

I don't think I've ever seen any of the Planet of the Apes movies.. 😱

I didn't realise that there were loads of older Planet of the Apes movies, to be honest. Probably going to stick to the newer ones now that I've finished the series. It's pretty good and I would definitely recommend it to you

Caught the first half of "Do the Right Thing" a couple weeks ago. Seemed like a pretty good movie overall, but I only ever watch things at friends houses so I dont always get to catch the end :v

I've watched it before but I'm watching War for the Planet of the Apes again. It's a great film and it's always a great one to rewatch when you have the time.

I watched Stowaway on Sunday.

I really enjoyed it up until the ending - it felt like there should have been at least an extra 30 minutes.. 😦

Shrek 2 on Netflix. I've watched it before but didn't really focus on it properly so I missed a few references here and there so I thought it was a good time to catch up on all the Shrek movies
